Drafting The 'Dreaming In Water & Flames' Tattoo Art Then Re-Created In Watercolor & Ink Brush For Body Art | Filmed In Joey Pang's Private Workshop | www.JoeyPang.com | www.TattooTemple.com

"A time lapse video composition of the 'Dreaming In Water & Flames' full back tattoo piece, created for our friend Emery. As previously mentioned his artwork was initially painted in vibrant watercolor yet changed to purely black and gray. This was done to further accentuate the stronger ink-brush aesthetics and decided on right before commencing his sessions. As depicted the creation process is rather extensive with the drawing forming the compositions' foundation. From there, using the drafted fine lines as guiding points, each individual colored layer is brushed and then re-aligned. The exception being the blue flames where the distance between forms inverted spacing, the colored outer shading allowing for the inner structures to materialize. Because of the inks movement as well as drying times it is often best to separate, retaining more detailed and signature flows depicted within each portion. Due to the highly fluid, organic brush movements there is a need to ensure distance and 'empty' space throughout so as not to overpower any one of the elements. Again it was our honor working with you on this Emery. We look forward to seeing you whenever you are next in town"
